'Elevate'. 30+ hours, over 1500 piece (1,549 to be exact) and 9 different species of wood! Nearly 20" tall. Maple, poplar, padauk, walnut, red oak, purple heart, osage orange and sapele. Click the picture for a video link of the vase coming together.
Twisted Vases. Each vase has 325 individual pieces. Maple and Jatoba wood.
Small wood turned live edge bowl. Natural beauty. Not sure what the wood is but it's definitely hard. My best guess is black locust.

Wakka Wakka This vase is made up of over 3000 (3054 to be exact) individual pieces of wood! It stands nearly 2' tall and 14.5" around at the widest. Walnut, maple, bloodwood, osage orange, yellow heart, purple heart, wenge, black limba, and mahogany.

Cherry bowl
The bowl is made from walnut and the design is maple, cherry, and oak.

Plywood can actually look pretty good in a turned project. With the angles it creates a neat "morph" effect as the vase flares towards the top.
